🧠 1. Warm-Up (10 min)
Activity:
Ask students:
“Comment tu t’appelles ?” (model and elicit)
“Tu parles français ? Un petit peu ?”
Examples:

📖👉 = Ouvrez le livre
📚 2. Vocabulary Introduction (15 min)
Levez-vous Stand up

🔉 3. Listening Comprehension (10 min)
Play an audio
Exemple :
Prof dit : “Levez-vous !”
Les élèves se lèvent.
Increase speed and complexity as they improve.
💬 4. Speaking Practice (15 min)
Pair Activity: One student is the teacher, the other is the student. Give them a list of instructions to read and act out.
Script:
A: "Bonjour, je suis le professeur !"
B: "Bonjour, Madame / Monsieur !"
A: "Asseyez-vous !"
B: does it
Rotate roles.
🧩 5. Game: Simon dit (Simon says) (10 min)
Play "Simon dit" using the new vocabulary.
Rules:
If you say “Simon dit : levez-vous” → students do it.
If you just say “Levez-vous” → students must not move.
Great for listening and reaction time.
✏️ 6. Reading + Writing (15 min)
Mini-dialogue à remettre en ordre (put in order):
a. Bonjour Madame.
b. Je m’assieds.
c. Je lève la main.
d. Le professeur dit : "Levez-vous."
Print and cut out lines — students reorder them and copy them into their notebooks.
🎨 7. Craft or Drawing Option (5–10 min)
Ask students to draw themselves in the classroom doing one of the actions:
“Je lève la main.”
“Je lis.”
“J’écris.”
They label the drawing in French.
🗺️ 8. Cultural Tip (5 min)
Explain a few French classroom habits:
Students stand when teacher enters the room.
They say “Présent(e) !” when called.
Teachers are often addressed formally: Madame / Monsieur + surname
Practice a roll-call:
👩🏫 "Marie ?"
👧 "Présente !"
✅ 9. Assessment / Wrap-Up (10 min)
Mini Quiz:
Match French verbs with images (cut & paste or draw a line).
Write the French command when shown a picture.
Or:
Teacher gives 5 instructions orally → students write or mime each one.
Exit Ticket:
Before leaving, each student must say one classroom command out loud.
